Larry Saperstein is an American actor, tap dancer, and director who was born on April 12, 1998, in Islip, Long Island, New York. He’s most known for his role as “Big Red” on the spin-off series of the High School Musical franchise, titled “High School Musical: The Musical: The Series”. Son of performer parents, he grew up in an environment full of creativity, and when Saperstein was only three years old, he performed next to his father in a production of “Working”, which aroused a passion for the theater in him. Saperstein took up dancing lessons by the age of six. Saperstein appeared in various New York and West Coast plays. He is a member of the Tap City Youth Ensemble and has danced with renowned tap dancers like Brenda Bufalino, Tony Waag and Tamii Sakuraii.
