She was born on April 10, 1981 in the city of Euclid, which is located in the state of Ohio, United States. The Broadway performer who shot to fame thanks to her role as Elle Woods in the musical adaptation of Legally Blonde. In 2002, she made her debut on Broadway playing the role of Amber Von Tussle in the musical Hairspray. In the 2013 television movie Dear Dumb Diary, she plays the role of Aunt Carol, and in the 2013 television movie The Christmas Calendar, she plays the role of Emily. In addition, she played the role of Young Sarah in the cult classic film Jumanji. In addition, she had a role on the show How I Met Your Mother as a co-anchor alongside Cobie Smulders.
