Lauren Ash, also known as Lauren Elizabeth Ash, was born in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, on February 4, 1983. She has won the Best Female Improviser category at the Canadian Comedy Awards twice, as well as awards for Best Comedic Play in 2008 and Best Sketch Troupe in 2006. She has appeared in a variety of roles in both the Canadian TV series "Almost Heroes" and the film "Scare Tactics." She appeared in "The Ron James Show," "Lost Girl," "Cracked," "Bomb Girls," and "Call Me Fitz" as a guest and had a recurring role. "Video on Trial," "Hotbox," and the Academy Award-nominated movie "Lars and the Real Girl" are some of his other film and television credits. She also provides Sam's voice in the Canadian animated series "The Dating Guy." The NBC sitcom Superstore, in which the actress played Dina, is her most well-known work.
