Lauren Elizabeth Bowles is an American actress best known for her work on TV. She was born in Washington, District of Columbia, United States, on March 24, 1970. She began her acting career in the mid-‘90s with appearances in the TV series First Time Out and Townies. Lauren has since appeared in numerous hit TV series including Seinfeld, Grey’s Anatomy, NCIS, CSI: NY, ER, The Messengers, Veep, Modern Family, and How to Get Away with Murder. She is best known for her portrayal of the character Holly Cleary in the TV series True Blood which she starred in alongside Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, Alexander Skarsgård, and Carrie Preston. Lauren has made appearances on the silver screen through the films Hall Pass, The Heartbreak Kid, and Is That a Gun in Your Pocket. She won a Shorty Award at the Sun Valley Film Festival in 2013.
