Lauren Conrad Bio

American television personality, fashion designer and author, Lauren Katherine Conrad, was born February 1st 1986 in Laguna Beach. Conrad stepped into the spotlight on the MTV reality show Laguna Beach. Conrad ended up with her own reality TV show, The Hills. While filming The Hills, she scored an internship at Teen Vogue, which was the start of her career in fashion. Lauren previously attended the Academy of Art University, and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. She then launched her own collection LC Lauren Conrad at Kohls. Expanding her talents, Conrad wrote a YA series called LA Candy, and a spin-off series, The Fame Game, which were loosely based on her time on reality TV. Lauren also released fashion and lifestyle books including Lauren Conrad Style, Lauren Conrad Beauty, and Celebrate. She extended her brand through her popular lifestyle website LaurenConrad.com. Conrad co-founded The Little Market, which helps build sustainable partnerships with artisans, to connect them to customers through an online marketplace. Lauren also launched another clothing line, Paper Crown, and continues to create fashion collections.
