Lauren Holly, also known as Lauren Michael Holly, was born on October 28, 1963 in Bristol, Pennsylvania. She was raised in Geneva, an upstate New York town. In the 1994 box office sensation Dumb and Dumber from New Line Cinema, which also starred Jim Carrey and Jeff Daniels, Holly gave her first-ever breakthrough performance as an actress. She then garnered praise for her work in the Edward Burns drama No Looking Back. Additional film credits include "Any Given Sunday" by Oliver Stone, "Sabrina" by Sydney Pollack, "Turbulence," the action-drama "Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story," "A Smile Like Yours," "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane," "Down Periscope," "Entropy," and "The Last Producer" from the Miramax ensemble. Holly recently appeared in two Hallmark movies on television. Alongside Mark Harmon, she also has three seasons as Director Jenny Shepard in NCIS.
