Lauren Lapkus Bio
Lauren Lapkus is an actress born on 6th September 1985 in Evanston, Illinois, United States. She is widely recognized for playing Susan Fischer in the comedy-drama streaming TV series “Orange Is the New Black” from 2013 to 2014 and in 2019. She is also known for starring as Jess in the series “Crashing” from 2017 to 2019. Lapkus made her film career after featuring in commercials such as Jack in the Box and Snickers. In 2014, she started her own podcast called “With Special Guest Lauren Lapkus.”
She was also featured in the science fiction film “Jurassic World” in the same year. In 2015, she played Joy in the American sitcom “Clipped.” The following year, she wrote and featured in her half-hour TV comedy sketch show “Netflix Presents: The Characters”. In 2020, she started a weekly podcast called Newcomers, which she co-hosted with Nicole Byer.
