Lauren Marie Socha, better known as Laren Socha, was born on June 9, 1990 in the city of Derby, in the county of Derbyshire, England. She received her acting training at Ian Smith's Television Workshop in Nottingham, and casting directors found her while she was participating in a local workshop. She went to Ian Smith's Television Workshop in Nottingham. The British Academy of Film and Television Arts presented the English actress with the award for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Kelly Bailey in the television show Misfits, which aired on E4. The award was presented to the actress in recognition of her performance. She also appeared alongside actor Tim McInnerny in the short film Missing, which was released in 2010, playing a co-starring role. In addition, she played a minor role in the television miniseries titled "Five Daughters," which was broadcast on television.
