Lauren Tom is an American actress and voice actress best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Chicago, Illinois, United States, on August 4, 1961.
Lauren began her acting career in 1982 when she appeared in the TV series The Facts of Life. She has since had recurring roles in the TV series Friends, Grace Under Fire, DAG, The Division, My Wife and Kids, Men in Trees, and Goliath. She has also lent her voice to the TV series Young Justice, Rick and Morty, Teen Titans Go, DC Super Hero Girls, and Samurai Jack, but she is best known for voicing the character Amy Wong in the animated series Futurama, which also features Billy West, John DiMaggio, Katey Sagal, and Tress MacNeille.
Lauren’s filmography includes Bad Santa, When a Man Loves a Woman, In Good Company, and The Joy Luck Club.
