Lauren Wasser Bio
Born in California on March 2nd, 1988, Lauren Wasser is a professional model who has appeared in editorials and has walked the runway. Her mother and her father were both models. When she was just two months old, she appeared alongside her mother on the cover of Italian Vogue. She was offered a basketball scholarship to a division I school, but she turned it down in order to pursue a career in modeling instead. She made her debut at New York Fashion Week utilizing a prosthetic leg on the runway because she had to have her right leg amputated due to medical reasons. This was her first time participating in the event. In addition to this, she appeared alongside Liya Kebede in a number of advertisements for Kenneth Cole.
