Lavonte David is a football player for the American football team who was born on January 23rd, 1990 in the city of Miami, Florida. After starting his collegiate career at Fort Scott Community College, he moved on to play college ball for the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was selected to the All-American First Team not once, but twice. During the second round of the 2012 NFL Draft, the middle linebacker was chosen by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the early stages of his National Football League career, he made a name for himself as a tackling machine. In his second season, he finished with 145 tackles, 7 sacks, 5 interceptions, a safety, and 2 forced fumbles. His safety was the result of a forced fumble. He finished his 2014 season in the NFL ranked as the 35th best player in the league by the NFL Top 100 series.
