Chinese singer-songwriter Dou Jingtong, also known as Leah Dou, was born on January 3, 1997. She is the daughter of Chinese musicians Dou Wei and Faye Wong, and sings primarily in English. She released her debut single, "With You," in 2012. She released her third personal original single, "Blue Flamingo," the same year she released her second personal original single, "On the Beach." She made her stage debut in a Tokyo performance in 2015. In Hong Kong, she made her debut later in Clockenflap 2015. On December 11, 2015, she released her debut single, "River Run," which went on to sell 25,000 copies on QQ Music in just three days. She was named the QQ New Female Artist of the Year in 2016. Before becoming as well-known as she is today, Dou attended the Berklee College of Music for a while before quitting after two years to couch-surf in Los Angeles.
