Born as Leah Marie Remini, Leah Remini is a professional American actress and author. She was born on June 15, 1970, in New York City, New York, but later moved with her family to Los Angeles, California. One of her earliest acting jobs was her role in the television series called Who’s The Boss? And its spin-off series Living Dolls. Since then, Leah Remini has appeared in CBS television series The King of Queens and has co-hosted the famous talk show called The Talk. Leah Remini is a former Scientologist and has published a memoir named Leah Remini: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology after she decided to leave the Church of Scientology. Following the book, she has co-produced and hosted the documentary series with the same name, which was awarded an Emmy Award.
