Born in August 28, 1982, Margaret LeAnn Rimes Cibrian came from Jackson, Mississippi. Her music genre revolves in country, pop, and dance-pop. She started her musical prowess as a child, joining local talent shows. Her first album was released by an independent label called Nor Va Jak. Soon afterwards, a Dallas disk jock who goes by the name Bill Mack introduced Rimes to mainstream music.
Rimes then had a recording contract with Curb Records after engaging in more than 100 concerts and television shows across Texas. The album “Blue” became a country sensation in 1996. It debuted in the third spot in the pop charts, having a sale of 123,000 copies in its first week. LeAnn Rimes became the youngest nominated artist for the CMA Best Country Singer.
