Born in November 1968 in Eype, Dorset, England, Lee Burridge is an extremely successful DJ and record producer, featuring in his work many genres such as EDM, Tech House, and Acid House. When he was just 16 years old, Lee Burridge DJ-ed for the first time in the bar that his parents owned, The New Inn. That was enough to kick off his career, and soon enough, he was DJ-ing weddings and other private parties. He landed a weekly spot at a few local nightclubs, which proved fateful to him. In 1991, a club owner from Hong Kong happened to visit the club where Lee Burridge was DJ-ing and offered him a job, which Burridge happily accepted. His known for being an instrumental part of the techno and house music awakening that happened in the Hong Kong clubs, music that was not really in that part of the world at the time.
Though Lee Burridge moved back to the U.K. in 1997, he nevertheless kept making and producing music. He put out the EP Lost & Found in 2001, followed by Treat ‘Em Mean, Keep ‘Em Keen in 2006, Do You Smoke Pot? in 2007, and Raw Dog in 2007. He has also released countless works of compilations, and from 1999 to 2007 ranked in the DJ Magazine Top 100 list, ranking as #9 in 2002.
