A well-known television actor named Lee Jung-Jae was born in Seoul, South Korea, on December 15, 1972. In addition to being a prominent actor in film and television, Jung-Jae Lee is a successful fashion model. 1993 saw Lee make his television debut, and the following year, he was cast in his first movie. His big break came in the acclaimed E-J Yong film An Affair, which was released in late 1998. Another hit movie, City of the Rising Sun, followed, for which he won the Best Actor prize at the domestic Chungryong Awards ceremony. After starring in the December 2000 release of the Korean-Japanese co production Asako in Ruby Shoes, Lee went on to enjoy significant success in the box office with the melodrama Last Present, in which he was paired with Lee Young-ae, and the action/mystery/drama The Last Witness, which was helmed by Bae Chang-ho. He played the main character in the sensational and hugely successful Netflix series Squid Games in 2021.
