Lee Rocker, born as Leon Drucker, on August 3, 1961, in Long Island, New York, is a double bass player, popular for being a part of the rockabilly band called The Stray Cats. He and his school friends James McDonnell and Brian Setzer founded The Stray Cats back in 1979 and have been actively playing ever since. The band has sold over ten million albums, including around twenty-three gold and platinum-certified records worldwide. Lee Rocker has performed alongside many famous artists including Ringo Starr, Willie Nelson, Keith Richards, and many others. In 1982, he was nominated for a Grammy award. In the mid-1980s, Lee Rocker, Jim Phantom, and Earl Slick formed the band called Phantom, Rocker & Slick. In 2013, Lee Rocker won the Lifetime Achievement Award from Bass Player Magazine.
