World music singer Lenin Ramírez was born on January 24th, 1989 in Culiacan, Mexico. When he was only four years old Lenin started singing and wrote his first song at age 16. DEL Records offered him a contract.
What made Lenin so popular in Mexico is his unique writing style and the way he mixes modern songs into different genres. In 2015, Lenin released his debut album Mi conquista. Later that year Lenin released another album called La Fuga del Jefe and this album made it to the Top Albums of Latin music. Lenin received a BMI award for a song he wrote called El Awitado in 2016. The song was performed by Mexican artist Jorge Valenzuela. Lenin also wrote songs for the artist Los Plebes Del Rancho.
In 2018, Lenin won his first Premios de la Radio award for his single Como Los Vaqueros.
