Leroy Johan Fer is a Dutch professional soccer player who plays as a central midfielder for Europe’s top leagues. He was born in Zoetermeer, Netherlands, on January 5, 1990. Leroy spent his developmental years playing for DWO and Feyenoord, and he turned professional in 2007 when he signed with the senior team at Feyenoord. Leroy has since represented Twente, Norwich City, Queens Park Rangers, Swansea City, and Alanyaspor. Throughout his time at Feyenoord, Leroy played alongside Lutsharel Geertruida, Jens Toornstra, Eric Botteghin, Marcos Senesi, and Steven Berghuis. Leroy has represented the Dutch national soccer team at all age levels.
