Lewis Watson, whose birth name is Lewis Michael Watson, is a British singer and songwriter who was born on October 19, 1992, in Preston, England. He picked up his first guitar at the age of 16, when he got one as a birthday present. He first uploaded a cover to YouTube, ‘Bombay Bicycle Club – Swansea COVER’. His first studio release was in 2012, when he released his EP titled ‘It’s Got Four Sad Songs on It BTW’. In the following year, he released his second and third EP, titled ‘The Wild’, and ‘Some Songs with Some Friends’. The third EP included collaborations with artists Gabrielle Aplin, Kimberly Anne, Hudson Taylor. It was in 2014 that Lewis released his first studio album, titled ‘the morning’, in a standard and deluxe version. The following releases were two new studio albums, 2017 ‘Midnight’ and 2020 ‘the love that you want’. In 2020, he released two EPs titled ‘because of you’ and ‘castles of sand’. In 2021, he released another EP, titled ‘my songs but on a piano’.
