Actor Liam Cunningham was born in East wall, Dublin, Ireland on June 2, 1961. In the mid-1980s, he worked as an electrician. He dropped out of school, at the age of 15. It wasn't until he was in his mid-twenties that he began acting. He made the decision to start acting after seeing an advertisement for a school. In "Into the West," he played a policeman in his debut movie role. He has since worked on several movies and stage shows on both sides of the Atlantic. He has starred in the two Irish independent films with the highest box office results as of 2017: The Guard (2011) and The Wind that Shakes the Barley (2006). In addition to Jude and the BBC One science fiction drama series Outcasts, he has acted in several films and television shows, including A Little Princess, and First Knight. He plays Davos Seaworth in HBO's Game of Thrones.
