Liam Howlett is an English DJ, record producer, musician, and songwriter born in Braintree, England on August 21, 1971. He known for co-founding the electronic band The Prodigy. As a child, he was trained in classical piano. At 14 years old, he was mixing songs he recorded from the radio. He attended his first rave in 1989 and in 1990 co-founded the electronic band The Prodigy in Braintree, Essex with Keith Flint. In 1992 they released their debut studio album titled Experience. They have since released the albums Music for the Jilted Generation, The Fat of the Land, Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned, Invaders Must Die, The Day Is My Enemy, and No Tourists. They have released seven studio albums, six EPs, three video albums, one live album, and one compilation album. The group has sold over 20 million albums worldwide. The Prodigy has been nominated for numerous awards and has won two Brit Awards, four MTV Video Music Awards, five NME Awards, three MVPA Awards and others.
