Liam Pitchford is an English professional table tennis player who represents Great Britain in international competitions. He was born in Chesterfield, England, on July 12, 1993.
Liam started playing table tennis at the age of four and won his first tournament at six years old. Liam became the youngest-ever national cadet champion in the United Kingdom in 2007 and represented England at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi, where he reached the quarter-finals.
Liam Pitchford has since gone on to achieve numerous accomplishments in the sport. He has won multiple medals at the Commonwealth Games, including silver in both men's singles and team events in 2018. Pitchford has also represented England at the Olympic Games, making his debut at the 2016 Rio Games and again at the 2020 Tokyo Games.
