Lido Pimienta Bio
Born in Colombia in 1986, Lido Pimienta is a Colombian-Canadian singer, songwriter, and musician who performs synthpop and cumbia music. She was born in Barranquilla, Colombia, in 1986. Lido began her music career in 2010 when she released her debut studio project Color. Her discography includes the hit singles Nada, Te Queria, Eso Que Tu Haces, Catch You, and the albums La Papessa, Color, and Miss Colombia. Lido won a Polaris Music Prize for her album La Papessa, and she received two Grammy nominations for Best Alternative Music Album and Best Latin Rock, Urban, or Alternative Album. Lido’s music was featured in the album South American All Stars alongside fellow artists Saravah Soul, Baden Powell, Tito Puente, and La Sonora Matancera.
