Lightning Bug Bio
Lightning Bug is a band from New York. Founded in 2014, the band consists of Guitarist/bassist Kevin Copeland, cellist Logan Miley, and drummer/percussionist Dane Hagen. The band has changed its lineup over the years, with some members leaving and others joining. They self-released their first full-length studio album, “Floaters” in 2015. The album was critically acclaimed, leading to the popularity of the band.
In 2017, they released the EP “The Torment of Love”, which contained four songs. Two years later, they issued their sophomore full-length album, “October Song”, which received many positive reviews and caught the attention of Fat Possum Record, a record label based in Mississippi. The album was re-released under the record label. In March 2020, the band released the single “The Only Ones” through the same record label. In June 2021, they released their third album, “A Color of the Sky”.
