Born Durk Banks on October 19, 1992, rapper Lil Durk has made a name for himself as an artist under the Def Jam record label. The Chicago native released his first single “Sneak Dissin’” in the late 2010s, which he followed with his track remix “L’s Anthem”, which featured guest appearances by Juelz Santana, Yo Gotti, Future, and Meek Mill. In 2013, Lil Durk signed to Coke Boys, the label owned by French Montana, and later released a mixtape Signed to the Streets, the fourth of his career. The mixtape was recognized by Rolling Stone as the eighth best mixtape of the year. The next year, he appeared on the cover of XXL Magazine as part of the 2014 Freshman Class. He would later release his album Remember My Name in 2014.
