Wesley Eric Weston Jr., better known by his stage name Lil' Flip, is a Southern American rapper who was born on March 3, 1981 in Houston, Texas, United States. He is best known for his work under the stage name Lil' Flip. At the age of nineteen, he published his debut album under his own name, titled The Leprechaun. The United States platinum certification was awarded to both of his albums, Underground Legend and U Gotta Feel Me. Before landing a record deal with Suckafree Records in 1999, he began his career in music as a freestyle and battle rapper. During that time, he won several awards. The songs "The Way We Ball", "Game Over", and "Sunshine" brought Lil' Flip the most success as a solo artist.
