Lil Halima, born Lillian Halima Anderson, is a 20-year old of Norweigan-Kenyan descent and currently resides in Norway. Lil Halima was discovered on Instagram, posting short clips of her dreamy vocals on her profile. She was then tapped by Def Jam Recordings Norway in 2018, aiding her first official release ‘Abstract’. She then released her debut EP in the same year, ‘love songs for bad lovers’, an electric pop and smooth hip-hop 7 track project produced by Gustav Nystrom and Teo&Frans. She followed this with two EP’s in 2019, the first being ‘for the dark days’ followed by ‘for the bright days’ with the track ‘who do u love’ which has over 1 million views on Spotify. Shortly before the release of her most recent album produced by Swedish producer Canto, ‘Brown Girl Diary’, she appeared on Colors x Studios singing her single ‘Hold Me’, hitting 800,000 views on YouTube. Lil Halima is a rising star with a distinguished pop style that Wonderland Magazine regards as “the kind of dreamy bedroom sound waves that are reminiscent of being folded slow-motion into your duvet”.
