Lil Miquela is a computer-generated robot who is also known as Miquela Sousa, or simply Miquela. She was created on April 22, 2016, by a model and music artist who resides in Downey, California. Lil Miquela is also known as Miquela. More than 2.8 million people are now following her on Instagram under the handle lilmiquela, which was specifically created to showcase the technology. Her Instagram feed gives the impression that she is an Instagram it-girl, but she has also expressed her opinion on a number of timely social and political issues. In August of 2017, she disseminated her first single, which was titled "Not Mine." In addition, she is featured on the single "Hate Me" by Baauer, which was released in 2018.
