Lil Tecca is the stage name of the American rapper, singer and songwriter Tyler Sharpe. He was born in Queens, New York on August 26, 2002. He became well known in 2019 after his single “Ransom” was played over 50 million times on Spotify and charted at number 35 on the Billboard Hot 100 and number 17 on the Canadian Singles chart. From a young age Sharpe wanted to become an NBA player, but at 12 years old started focusing on a music career. He was rapping with friends over Xbox Live parties. In 2018 he released his debut single titled “Callin” and has since released the singles “My Time”, “Rags to Riches”, “Count Me Out”, “Love Me”, “Did it Again”, “Molly Girl”, “Grammy Freestyle”, and “Random.”
