Lilly Wachowski Bio
Lilly Wachowski was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 29, 1967. She works mostly with her sister Lana Wachowski, and they are collectively known as The Wachowski Brothers.
She wrote, produced, and directed Bound in 1996, and it won several award nominations. She bagged the 2000 Saturn Award from the Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films for The Matrix (1999). She worked on the follow-up films in the Matrix franchise and even in the video games released in 2005. She also directed Cloud Atlas (2012) under the name Andy Wachowski. She is also the producer of The Animatrix, V for Vendetta, Speed Racer, and Ninja Assassin. She is the executive producer, writer, and director for 12 episodes of the TV series Sense8 in 2015.
