Lisa Gilroy Bio

Lisa Gilroy is an actress, improviser, comedian, and host born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. She is best known for her roles in Brooklyn Nine-Nine (NBC) and Comedy Bang Bang! (Earwolf). She voiced a character in Comedy Central’s animated series Fairview and guest-starred on Netflix's Glamorous.

Lisa is an alumna of The Second City's National Touring Company. She is a performer in  The Upright Citizens Brigade's Harold and Maude. Her corset-wearing debut will be on Mel Brook’s History of the World Part II on Hulu. Her resume includes The Sketchersons, Live Journal, Search History, and Probably Pregnant! She featured as a nurse in Kia Soul's international commercial in 2017

Lisa has writing credits for YTV’s Big Fun Movies and The Zone. She hosted YTV's The Zone and Summer Beach Bash, The Next Star Finale Pre-Show, The Kids Choice Awards, and Emmy-nominated Undercover High. She featured in Whitney Cummings' Pet Friendly series (2018), The Beaverton (2019), and Air Farce (2017). She won the Canadian Comedy Award twice and was nominated for Canadian Screen Award.
