Born on September 19, 1958, Lita Ford came from London, England, United Kingdom. Originally, Ford played for the rock band Runaways before she went solo. She is a feminist in her musical approach, playing in par with any male metal player. She is a wild girl stereotype. She started playing music at the age of 11, and five year later, she the all-female group Runaways.
The band dissolved so Ford went on to learn singing, embarking on a solo career. She self-released her debut album in 1983 entitled “Out for Blood.” The following year, she released “Dancin’ on the Edge.” Her follow-up came four years after with the album “The Bride Wore Black.”
