Formed in 1998, Little Big Town is one the few American country music groups that still consist of the same members who originally founded it. Karen Fairchild, Kimberly Schlapman (née Roads), Phillip Sweet, and Jimi Westbrook bonded over a shared love for music and released their first album Little Big Town (2002) with Monument Records after moving to Nashville. The group’s second album, The Road to Here (2005) was released with Equity Music Group. The songs on this album climbed among Top 10 on country charts. Their other notable albums include A Place to Land (2007), The Reason Why (2010), Tornado (2012), Pain Killer (2014), Wanderlust (2016), The Breaker (2017), Nightfall (2020). The group has heavily toured around the country and accumulated numerous awards including 4 Grammy Awards, 8 Academy of Country Music Awards, 9 Country Music Association Awards, 2 CMT Artists of the Year Awards, and many more.
