Little Dragon are a Swedish trip hop band. The band was formed in 1996, in Gothenburg, Sweden, and it is composed of Yukimi Nagano who is the vocalist, Erik Bodin, who plays the drums, Fredrik Wallin at the bass, and Håkan Wirenstrand at the keyboards. They released their first double side vinyl single called “Twice”/”Test” in 2006 under Off the Wall Records. In 2007, they signed with Peacefrog Records and they released their self-titled debut album. Two years later, they released their second album, “Machine Dreams”, soon followed by “Ritual Union” which reached number 41 on the Rolling Stones Magazine’s chart of the 50 Best Albums in 2011. In 2010, Damon Albarn asked the band to feature Gorillaz’s album “Plastic Beach”, which they did, appearing on the songs “To Binge” and “Empire Ants”. Their fourth album “Nabuma Rubberband” was released in 2014, and it was nominated for Best Dance/ Electronic Album at the Grammy Awards.
