Liz Phair Bio
Elizabeth Clark Phair, better known as Liz Phair, is an American singer, songwriter, and musician who performs indie-rock music. She was born in New Haven, Connecticut, United States, on April 17, 1967. Liz began her music career in 1990, and in 1993, she released her debut studio project Exile in Guyville, which was a commercial and critical success. She has since had a successful career, cementing her name in the world of indie rock. Her discography includes the hit singles Why Can’t I, Fuck and Run, Supernova, Extraordinary, Polyester Bride, and the albums Somebody's Miracle, Soberish, and Whitechocolatespaceegg. Her music has been featured in numerous film and TV productions including Charmed, The O.C., The 100, and No Reservations, which also featured Michael Buble, Ray Gelato, Michael Riesman, and Leone Magiera. Liz has won multiple awards including a Spin's Readers' Poll Award for Album of the Year, an ASCAP Pop Music Award for Top Television Composer, and a BMI Pop Award for Most Performed Work.
