Liza Minnelli is an actress born on 12th March 1946 in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, United States. She is widely recognized for her commanding stage performance and powerful singing voice. She is among the few performers to win the Emmy Award, Grammy Award, Tony Award, and Oscar Award. She started her acting career in the 1963 off-Broadway revival of the musical “Best Foot Forward”. She began her career as a live performer three years later and went on to record several albums, most notably “It Amazes Me,” “There is a Time,” and “Capitol Records: Liza”.
Her first major role in a film came in 1967 when she appeared in the film “Charlie Bubbles”. In the 1970s, she released songs like “New Feelin,” “Come Saturday Morning,” and “Liza Minnelli” under A&M Records. In 2001, she shared a stage with her long-time friend Michael Jackson. In 2004, Liza featured in the Emmy Award-winning sitcom “Arrested Development” as Lucille Austero. In 2013, she reprised her role in “Arrested Development”.
