Lochlyn Munro is an actor and musician born on February 12, 1966, in Lac la Hache, British Columbia, Canada. He ventured into acting after a serious sports injury ended his dream of playing professional hockey. He studied drama and improvisational comedy under the late Susan Strasberg. Lochlyn played music in several clubs around Vancouver and British Columbia.
In 1987, he starred in 21 Jump Street and Wiseguy. Then, he landed a role in Clint Eastwood's Unforgiven (1992). However, his role in the 1998 Dead Man on Campus as Cliff brought his big-screen breakthrough. The same year, he featured in the Saturday Night Live sketch feature adaptation, A Night at the Roxbury.
Lochlyn starred in, and executive produced Broil (2020). In 2022, he starred in When Time Got Louder as Mark Peterson, Curious Caterer: Dying for Chocolate as Dr. Richard Korman, Peacemaker as Larry Fitzgibbon, and Time for Them to Come Home for Christmas as Sheriff Crowley.
