LOLAWOLF Bio
Lolawolf is a Brooklyn-based music trio whose eclectic sound spans the music genres of electronica/dancehall, pop, R&B, and hip-hop. It is formed by members Jimmy Giannopoulo, James Levy, and Zoe Kravitz. Zoe is the daughter of rock legend, Lenny Kravitz, and Lisa Bonet. Lolawolf cites musical influences in TLC, A Tribe Called Quest, Aaliyah, Timbaland, and Missy Elliot.
Lolawolf released a self-titled EP in 2013, which they quickly followed up with a full-length album entitled Calm Down. Their latest EP, Everyfuckingday, was released in 2015. The group has been associated with artists like A$AP Rocky, Lily Allen, Miley Cyrus, and Warpaint. With over a million views on YouTube, Lolawolf’s most popular songs are “AYO,” “Lolawolf,” and “Bitch.”
