Lonely the Brave Bio
Lonely the Brave is a British alternative rock group which was formed in 2008, in Cambridge. The members of the band are vocalist Jack Bennett, guitarists Mark Trotter and Ross Smithwick, drummer Gavin Edgeley and bassist Andrew Bushnen. That same year, the band self-released its first EP titled For an Exit Light, which was followed by Backroads two years later. This last album was followed by a tour around the UK which earned them a lot of support because of their intense performances.
The band then signed with Hassle Records and released a new version of Backroads in 2014. Later that year, the band released its first full-length album titled The Day’s War, which reached #14 in the UK album chart. The band’s second album came out in 2016 and was called Things Will Matter, which was followed by The Hope List in 2021.
