Born on December 22, 1968 in Stoughton, Massachusetts, United States, Lorraine “Lori” McKenna is an Americana, folk, and country singer-songwriter. She started her career in 1998 and between 2000 and 2004 recorded and released her first four albums under the record label named Signature Sounds. The albums, however, faced a lackluster success. In 2006, McKenna went on a tour with famous country singers Tim McGraw and his wife Faith Hill. In 2007, with the help of Tim McGraw she made it to Warner Bros. Nashville and under this famous record label she released an album called “Unglamorous”. The pair always cheered her on and soon she was one of the industry’s most sought-after songwriters. She has written hit songs for famous artists including Sara Evans, Reba McEntire, Tim McGraw, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban. McKenna also co-wrote “Always Remember Us This Way” for the 2018 film A Star Is Born. Her outstanding talent has earned her 2 Grammy Awards.
