Lorn Bio
Marcos Ortega (known by his stage name Lorn) is an American electronic producer, composer, and DJ from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His interest in music peaked at a young age after listening to Aphex Twin’s classic Come to Daddy.
He made his first appearance with a remix of MC Jammer’s Better Than. He gained much exposure in the 2000s and later released a number of EPs (including 7&13 in 2006) with Wednesday Sound label. DRUGS EP followed and Grief Machine was released in 2007. In 2010 Lorn changed to the Flying Lotus’ Brainfeeder label and released his debut full-length Nothing Else.
Marcos returned to Wednesday Sound label and released his third album Vessel in 2015. He then decided to quietly release the record himself on New Year's Eve that year.
