Los Angeles Azules is a Mexican music group formed in Iztapalapa, Mexico City in 1983 by the Mejia Avante family. The members of the group are Elias, Jose Hilario, Jorge, Alfredo, Guadalupe, and Cristina Mejia Avante. The group has changed their style several times throughout their time together, but mainly play the cumbia sonidera genre. They are popular in several Latin American countries and parts of the United States. In 2018 they became the first traditional cumbia group to play at the popular festival Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
