Los Cadillacs Bio
Los Fabulosos Cadillacs is a Buenos Aires-based Argentine ska band.
They formed in 1985 and released their debut album, Bares y Fondas in 1986. Between then and now, they have released fourteen more albums. They are one of the most influential and well-referenced Latin ska bands.
The band's sound combines ska, salsa, mambo, reggae, funk, and samba. It is also known for its irreverent and hilarious lyrics, which frequently have political overtones.
The essential members have always been the co-founders: lead singer Gabriel Fernandez Capello (aka Vicentico) and bassist and backup vocalist Flavio Cianciarulo (known as Sr. Flavio).
