Lou Ferrigno Bio

Lou Ferrigno is a retired professional bodybuilder, fitness trainer, and actor. Born on 9 November 1951 in New York City, New York, Lou Ferrigno started his bodybuilding career at the age of 13 when he first started lifting weights at the gym. The peak of his acting career is his lead role as Hulk in the CBS television series The Amazing Hulk. He has also appeared in Sinbad of the Seven Seas, Hercules, and even portrayed himself in the sitcom The King of Queens and I Love You, Man. As a part of his career as a professional bodybuilder, Lou Ferrigno has won IFBB Mr. America as his first award, only to later win the IFBB Mr. Universe. He has trained alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, as they both appeared in the 1977 documentary Pumping Iron where Lou Ferrigno attempted to beat Arnold Schwarzenegger. Lou Ferrigno also completed first in the annual World’s Strongest Man competition back in 1977.
