Louisa Clare Harland is an Irish actress who is 28 years old. She is best known for her performance in the Channel 4 series Derry Girls as Orla McCool.
After graduating, Harland earned a recurring part as Kayleigh in the RTÉ One series Love/Hate in 2011. She later starred in Woody Harrelson's Lost in London and Rob Burke's Standby (2014). (2017).
Harland was cast as Orla McCool, the quirky cousin of Erin Quinn (Saoirse-Monica Jackson), in the Channel 4 series Derry Girls in 2017.
Harland and her Derry Girls co-stars did a sketch with Saoirse Ronan for the RTÉ charity show RTÉ Does Comic Relief on June 26, 2020, with revenues benefiting people impacted by the COVID-19 epidemic.
In March 2021, Harland co-starred alongside Sam Otto in a BBC Radio 4 version of Theo Toksvig-drama Stewart's Endless Second.
