Lucas François Bernard Hernandez (born February 14, 1996) is a French professional footballer, best known for playing as a center-back or left-back for Ligue 1 club Paris Saint-Germain and the France national team.
Hernandez started his career with Atlético Madrid where he made more than 100 competitive appearances, reaching the 2016 UEFA Champions League Final. He also won the 2018 Europa League and the Super Cup in the same year. He signed for Bayern in 2019, winning the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal, and Champions League in his first season as part of a treble. Hernandez joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2023.
On the International scene, Hernandez made his debut for the senior team in March 2018, in a friendly match against Colombia. He was included in France's squad for the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and he played a key role in helping the team to win the tournament. He also featured for France in the 2020-21 UEFA Nations League and won the tournament. He was named in the UEFA Champions League Squad of the Season for the 2019-20 season.
