Lucía L. Méndez is a Mexican soap opera and film actress, singer and model born on January 26th, 1955. She is known for several hit singles including the 2014 “Te Vas O Te Quedas” and the 2011 “Esperanza del Corazón.” additionally, she is popular for her appearance in several films, soap operas and TV series. Lucia Mendez started her career at age 8. However, her first television role was in 1971, where she played Raquel in the telenovela "Muchacha italiana viene a casarse."
Although she has acted in several films and telenovelas, she is widely known for her leading role in the 1985 telenovela “Tú o Nadie.” Additionally, her demeanor in the telenovela "Marielena" in 1994 is one of the best seen. In 2011, she starred in the Mexican soap opera “Esperanza del Corazón” alongside Bianca Marroquín, the Mexican Broadway star and Fernando Allende.
