Musician and actress Ana Lucia Moniz was born on 9th September 1976 in Lisbon, Portugal. Growing up in a family of musicians, she always had an inclination toward it. At an early age, she joined the Saint Cecilia Academy of Music. She became popular in Portugal after her victory at the Festival da Cancao where she reached the finals. In 1997, she started her career as an actress on the TV show, ‘A Grande Aposta.’ She continued to pursue music and released her first studio album, ‘Magnolia,’ which included songs in English and Portuguese. She followed it up with her second album, ‘67’. It was in 2003 that she made her breakthrough on an international platform as Aurelia in the film ‘Love Actually’. Two years later, she returned to the music scene with the album, ‘Leva-me p’ra casa’. She released two more albums, ‘Fio de Luz,’ and ‘Calendario’. In 2017, she reprised the role of Aurelia in the short film, ‘Red Nose Day Actually’.
