Lucky Daye is the stage name of David Debrandon Brown, an American R&B singer, and songwriter. He was born on September 25, 1985, in New Orleans, Louisiana. As a child, he would turn childhood books into songs of his own. He would later relocate to Atlanta, Georgia, to peruse a professional career as a singer. Lucky Daye appeared in the fourth season of American Idol and reached the Top 20 before being eliminated. He first started working as a songwriter and background vocalist and is featured on songs by Keith Sweat, Ne-Yo, and many other artists. In 2018, Lucky Daye released his debut single called Roll Some Mo and the same year he released his first EP named I.
